CHARLEVOIX -- A Charlevoix man is behind bars after police say he was distributing Heroin in the area.
The Charlevoix City Police and the Charlevoix County Sheriff's Office searched a home Tuesday after a lengthy drug investigation.
Investigators recovered heroin, marijuana, cash and various drug paraphernalia inside the home. 30-year-old Earl King was charged with Delivery of Heroin. Another man inside the home was arrested for a probation violation.
"I would say it's not normal, again, I would commend the officers, because when we heard about this, they just put everything in fast forward, and just ran right after and got it, just a super, super job," said Charlevoix Police Chief Gerard Doan.
Officials expect additional charges in connection with the investigation.
