CRAWFORD COUNTY -- A Crawford County woman is dead after she was thrown from a motorcycle after it crashed into an oncoming van.
It happened Sunday at 7:04 p.m. at the intersection of Stephan Bridge and Shaw Park Rd.
Investigators say the driver of the van was struck by the motorcycle throwing both the driver and passenger from the bike. The driver of the motorcycle, 23-year-old Joseph Roby of Grayling was airlifted to Munson Medical Center in Traverse City in critical condition. The female passenger, 27-year-old Annie Spencer of Grayling was pronounced dead at Grayling Mercy Hospital.
The driver of the van was not injured. This incident remains under investigation by the Crawford County Sheriffs Office.
