The man went missing Saturday Night in Hardwood Lake near Prescott
OGEMAW CO., MI -- A State Police Dive Team is now helping search for a missing man who never came back from a fishing trip in Ogemaw County.
44-year-old Glenn Wolven of Clausen went out around in his boat Saturday evening on Hardwood Lake -- that's near Prescott.
Sunday morning his boat was found - but he wasn't in it.
Search and Rescue boats and divers have been out looking for him ever since.
"We're out trying to cover the water, we gotta believe he's in the water, of course, we don't know that, but there's no, nothing to think that's not the case," said Sheriff Howie Hampf of the Ogemaw County Sheriff’s Department.
The sheriff tells 7&4 a cadaver dog picked up on a scent earlier Monday afternoon.
Crews have since focused their attention to that portion of the lake.
One challenge that the search crews are having to face is the murky waters -- making it hard to send dive teams in to search for a body.
