A Traverse City woman is behind bars, accused of trying to rob the pharmacy at the Munson Community Health Center.
The Pharmacist at the Urgent Care Center at 550 Munson Avenue told police a woman walked into the pharmacy around 7:00 a.m. Saturday, said she had a gun in her purse and demanded Oxycontin.
The pharmacist refused to hand over the drugs, and the woman walked away.
Traverse City Police arrested a 31-year-old Traverse City woman Monday morning. Investigators say she confessed to the crime. The name of the suspect is being withheld until she is arraigned on the charges, which is expected to take place Tuesday afternoon.
