MESICK -- A Wexford County community is celebrating the festival of fungi!
The 51st Annual Mesick Mushroom Festival kicked off Friday. While the weather made it messy for some outdoor activities, those die-hard mushroom hunters didn't let a few drops of rain stop them from heading into the woods.
The festival includes all kinds of family friendly activities and organizers are gearing up for a weekend full of fun.
The Mushroom Festival Grand Parade begins at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, followed by a Horse Pull. For a full list of events click on THIS LINK.
