GAYLORD -- The Gaylord Police Department is searching for a woman accused of robbing a business.

It happened around 5:00 p.m. Wednesday.  Police say the woman entered Advance America at 1257 W. Main.  The store employees say the woman had a  knife and demanded money.  The suspect then left the building and was seen running away on foot.  Police believe she ran to a vehicle, a 2004 or 2005 Maroon Pontiac Grand Prix.

The suspect was a white woman 20-25 years old, 5'6" and 115-125 pounds.  She had dark hair and was wearing a dark colored knit winter hat, large dark round sunglasses and a blue, yellow and green colored scarf which was wrapped around her face.  She was also wearing a yellow hooded shirt, blue sweatpants and tennis shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Gaylord Police Department at 989-732-1777.
