Weekend fire claims life of 66 year old woman
A Manistee County woman is dead after an overnight house fire.
It happened just before 2:00 am Saturday morning in Springdale Township - that's west of Copemish. Fire crews from three departments were called to the home in northern Manistee County.
Investigators say a 66 year old woman inside the home was killed in the fire.
State Police are investigating the cause.
