TRAVERSE CITY --
An inmate who walked away while on work duty is back behind bars at the Grand Traverse County Jail.
Jacob Sowers was arrested around 2:30 p.m. Friday in Wexford County.
Sowers was with a work crew at The Goodwill Store on 1151 S. Airport Road when he walked away. He was in jail for failing community corrections on a OWI 3rd offense. He was sentenced to 360 days in jail on 12/4/2009.
