After Eight Dumpster Fires, A Tip Leads Police to Suspect

PETOSKEY -- Police in Petoskey say they have a confession from a local resident who admits to setting several dumpster fires over the past six months.

We told you about this story on Friday.

The Petoskey Department of Public Safety says they got a tip that helped them identify a suspect.

They arrested 32-year-old Joshua Goebel of Petoskey who they say admitted to setting all eight dumpster fires.

They say he also admitted to setting several other fires in other communities.

Monday in court he pleaded not guilty.
