EAST LANSING, MI -- For the first time in almost 50 years the Suttons Bay boys basketball team has advanced to the state finals. The Norsemen got there this afternoon by beating Bridgman 52-38 in a semi-final matchup.
Dwaun Anderson led the way for Suttons Bay with 16 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 blocks. The Norsemen held the Bees to just 20.6% shooting from the field.
The Norsemen take on Melvindale ABT on Saturday at noon for the Class C state title.
