ELKS Apprentices Enrichment Program

Some local elementary school students have launched their own version of "The Apprentice."

At Mill Creek Elementary in about 30 fourth and fifth graders are teaming up for a business competition that goes for a good cause.

The 30 kids are working in three groups of ten. They all researched a topic and agreed to raise money for the cause. The "Green Team" is raising money to protect the rainforest. "Paws for a Cause" is supporting the AC Paws shelter.  And "FFL" is a team sending its cash collections to the Fight for Leukemia.

Each group is hoping to raise $1,000 dollars for each of their causes.
