Parents and educators discuss concerns
Parents, teachers, and child care workers from across the region are getting together for a community forum and child development and education issues.
The forum was held Saturday at the Traverse Bay Area Intermediate School District offices. Those who attended say there are few issues as important as education - and guest speakers say funding all of the needs is one of the biggest challenges.
The forum in Traverse City was also available by video tele-conference, with other parents and educators watching from Charlevoix, Cadillac, and Onekama.
