Newlyweds on honeymoon when quake hits
A Traverse City couple was one day away from coming home from their extended honeymoon. But at 2:30 in the morning, an 8.8 magnitude earthquake struck in Chile.
Jennifer Lake recently married to her husband Kieron. They were honeymooning in Chile when the earthquake woke them up in their hotel room in Santiago.
We talked with Jennifer by phone Sunday afternoon. She described the moment when she and her husband were awakened by the earthquake.
