TRAVERSE CITY -- A custodian with Traverse City Area Public Schools is arrested, facing charges for Production of Child Pornography, Stalking, and Use of a computer to commit a crime. Officials say the victim is a TCAPS student.
Deputies and Detectives from the Grand Traverse County Sheriff's Office arrested the Long Lake Township man Friday. Officials say stalking and computer charges were added after further investigation of the case.
Investigators took two computers, computer software, storage and other evidence from the man's home. A computer forensic examination of the evidence has been partially completed, but will take several more weeks until it's finalized. Additional charges may occur at that time.
Officials say at this time, there is one victim involved. If anyone is aware of additional victims, you are asked to call Detective Todd Heller at the Grand Traverse Sheriff's Office Detectives Bureau at 231-995-5002.
