The Grayling City Manager is voted out on administrative leave while a criminal investigation continues.

David Thayer was taken away in handcuffs  earlier this month following a two month investigation.

Thayer faces a 24 count misdemeanor for releasing confidential information.  Investigators say Thayer released social security numbers to the public. Each charge carries up to 93 days in jail and-or a $1,000 fine.

City leaders are planning a special meeting to discuss the issue Wednesday night at City Hall.  The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m.

David Thayer will be back in court for arraignment on the charges Wednesday 2:00 p.m.
