Comedy Arts Festival underway
The first ever Traverse City Comedy Arts Festival is in full swing. Saturday was a great day to get out and enjoy a few good laughs. One place where the laughs are easy to come by - the City Opera House.
The Traverse City Opera House is the host venue for Comedy Sportz. It is an interactive, comedy-improv event. Two teams of comedians take the stage, but the audience helps make up the scenes and contribute ideas while the two teams battle for points. In this family-friendly performance there's a referee to maintain order and help the crowd get involved. But it's up to the audience to pick a winner.
There's another Comedy Sportz event on Sunday morning.
