Traverse City Police Officer Placed On Leave

TRAVERSE CITY -- Traverse City Police Officer Joseph Soffredine is placed on administrative leave while officials conduct a new investigation.

Officials say the incident involves Officer Soffredine while he was off duty.  The Police Department was contacted Wednesday, February 17 by someone with information involving a disturbance at the "House of Doggs" restaurant on February 6. After the initial contact, an internal investigation was immediately started by the Police Department.

Thursday, Officer Soffredine was placed on administrative leave pending the outcome.
