Event welcomes women to share in food & fun
Sunday is the 2nd annual "Souper Bowl, Women, and Snow" event at Timber Ridge Resort in Grand Traverse County.
The event, for women only, highlights outdoor events like cross country skiing and snowshoeing, but also fun and friendship. The ladies bring soup, chili, or another dish to share. And they're also bringing donations for the Father Fred Foundation.
Organizers say Souper-Bowl Sunday "is a super way to get super women together." This isn't the only opportunity for the ladies to get together. They also hold a "She Ski" night, every Wednesday night at Timber Ridge. For more information you can contact the resort or the VASA Ski Club.
