CADILLAC -- Rhonda Sue Merritt is behind bars, accused of taking more than $100,000 from her employer.
Investigators say Merritt worked for Cadillac Family Physicians, P.C. for 17 years. Officials believe she embezzled the money while she worked as the Billing Manager for the office. The Michigan State Police have been investigating the case for the past five months.
43-year-old Merritt faces up to 20 years in prison if found guilty of the felony charge.
