Now's the time many people need a reminder
If your new year involved making a New Year's resolution to lose weight or add exercise, it's a good time to remind yourself to stay on task.
Doctor Pat Friedli is the medical director at Munson's Healthy Weight Center. He's given several presentations on healthy eating habits and maintaining a healthy weight. Dr. Friedli calls the tips "The Pearls of Healthy Weight."
Sunday he shared those pearls of wisdom with an audience at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Traverse City. He says a lot of people start the new year off right, but for some people the progress seems to come to a halt by the end of the month.
Dr. Friedli says you should check with your physician if you have concerns about your weight, or if you have questions about the Healthy Weight Center. It's also a good idea to check with your doctor before starting any diet or exercise plan.
