Dogs take the spotlight
Dog sled rides and a dog weight pull are some of the highlights on Saturday's agenda at the Kalkaska Winter Fest.
There is also an International Sled Dog Race. Starts and finishes happened all day long both today and tomorrow, and organizers say more than 80 teams have entered from all over the country.
More fun is in the works for Sunday, starting with the pancake breakfast 7:30-10:30, and an Ice Bowl Disc Golf Tournament.
