TRAVERSE CITY -- Traverse City Area Public Schools Superintendent, James Feil, will soon be leaving the district.

Feil handed in his letter of resignation to the School Board Thursday.  In his resignation letter Feil stated he would like to explore new career opportunities. 

Feil has led the TCAPS district for five years.  His last day will be July 1, 2010.
