Armed Robbery Investigation

KALKASKA -- The Kalkaska Police Department is searching for a man they say robbed a gas station by gunpoint.

It happened Thursday at 10:42 p.m. at the Marathon Gas Station at 207 N. Cedar St.

Investigators say the man entered the store with a handgun and demanded cash from the register.  The man fled the area with an undisclosed amount of money.  No shots were fired and the clerk was not hurt. 

The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 5' 8", with a slender build.  He was wearing a black hoody jacket, dark pants, black gloves and a facemask.
