The 16th annual Father Fred Frostbite Food Drive will take place next week, helping the community during the tough times

The 16th annual Father Fred Frostbite Food Drive will take place next week, helping the community during the tough times.

The Father Fred Foundation is the largest food pantry in Northern Michigan and it depends on food drives each year to help fill the need.

Father Fred helps more than 3-thousand families every year put food on the table and counts on the community to help in the effort.

The Frostbite Food Drive will take place from January 15-24.  Volunteers will be station at the Garfield Plaza in front of the Agave Mexican Grill.

Donations of food and cash are appreciated from 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM weekdays and 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM on the weekend.  For more information you can call 231-947-2055.  You can also make a donation online by clicking on THIS LINK.
