CADILLAC -- A young mother is sentenced to three years probation for leaving her kids in a van when she knew there was a faulty tailpipe. The children were hospitalized for carbon monoxide poisoning.

Brandy King, of Cadillac, was originally charged with Second-Degree Child Abuse, a felony carrying up to four years in prison, but that charge was reduced.

King pled No Contest to Fourth Degree Child Abuse earlier this year.

None of the children suffered permanent injuries.
