Hickory Hills not open for business
Across Northern Michigan, most ski areas opened the slopes this weekend. But one place that's not open is Hickory Hills in Traverse City.
Hickory Hills is owned and operated by the City. They're planning on opening the slopes next week Friday.
Hickory Hills has 8 runs with 1 for beginners, 5 for intermediate skiers, and 2 runs for advanced skiers. The area also offers night skiing.
Cross country skiers can also enjoy 5 k of trails with a 1 k trail lighted for night skiing.
Hickory Hills is on Randolph Street, west of downtown Traverse City.
