Chamber talks with Blue Cross Blue Shield
Many local business owners are facing economic challenges these days - one of those challenges is the cost of health insurance benefits for employees. But the area's largest chamber of commerce is hoping help.
Each weekend we're bringing you a preview of the Traverse City Area Chamber's weekly television program, "Chamber Connections." The 30-minute show is dedicated to business issues, economic development and the northwest Michigan community.
This week's guest is from Blue Cross Blue Shield. He'll be talking about ways small businesses can get involved in the "Blue Care Network" - the HMO through Blue Cross Blue Shield. He'll also discuss a new plan called "Healthy Blue," which is an incentive-based option for employers and their workers.
