Online database for volunteering opportunities
Saturday, December 5 is National Volunteer Day and the CharEm United Way has a new opportunity for those looking to get involved.
The agency has unveiled their online Volunteer Connections resource. It's an online database posting a variety of volunteer opportunities with non-profit, government, and academic organizations throughout Charlevoix and Emmet counties.
The postings include working in office environments to helping out at animal shelters and senior centers.
