MISSAUKEE CO. -- A Cadillac man is behind bars charged with leading police on a high speed chase through Missaukee County.

Troopers say Allen Pattee was clocked going more than 102 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone.

It happened Tuesday afternoon on M-55 in Lake Township.

According to the State Police Pattee fled into a corn-field and thru a subdivision. Officials say he drove thru yards and around homes to try and get away, but eventually gave up.

Pattee was out on bond for an OWI and a resisting and obstructing charge when he was arrested Tuesday.
