The Toys for Tots Trolley makes stops across Northern Michigan in an effort to help those in need
A Bay Area Transportation Authority bus will take on a new role this week as it makes stops in communities across Northern Michigan as a part of the Toys for Tots campaign.
The campaign is collecting new, unwrapped toys that are distributed to needy children through family service agencies in the area.
Organizers are bracing for a 20% increase in toy requests this year.
Locations for this year's Toy Trolley include the following:
- Monday November 30, Kalkaska, Bill Marsh Ford 4:00-7:00 p.m.
- Tuesday December 1, Beulah, A.Papano's Pizza 4:00-7:00 p.m.
- Wednesday December 2, Cadillac, Ruby Tuesday's 4:00-7:00 p.m.
- Thursday December 3, Gaylord, Walmart 4:00-7:00 p.m.
- Friday, December 4, Traverse City, Burger King near Meijer 8:00a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
