Show 22: Concert Series offers cultural experiences
The area's largest chamber of commerce is hoping to connect Northern Michigan with other cultures - through music and other performances.
Each weekend we're bringing you a preview of the Traverse City Area Chamber's weekly television program, "Chamber Connections." The 30-minute show is dedicated to business issues, economic development and the northwest Michigan community.
This week the show is focusing on the Dennos Museum Concert Series - at Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City. The guests say we're all living in a global environment - and that makes it increasingly important to be more aware of different cultures and experiences. They also say the arts aren't just entertainment - they're also educational. That's where the Dennos Concert Series tries to help.
