Site has become a dumping ground for trash
A group of boy scouts are spending part of their weekend trying to make a difference at what's become a dumping ground for trash.
Boy Scout troop 37 from Grawn teamed up with parent volunteers to clean up the mess at Hoosier Valley. The hunting area and target shooting property has become a dumping ground, and many people take aim at whatever is on the property.
The scouts are doing it to advance to the next scouting rank, and to get some experience volunteering in the community. From boats and parts of cars, to electronics and plumbing fixtures, the scouts say they found all kinds of junk in the four hours they were picking up the property.
