Boxing Champ trained at Olympic facility in U.P.

Police say a former boxing champion who trained at the Olympic facility in Marquette has been shot and killed in an apparent robbery.

Atlanta Police say Vernon Forrest may have been robbed and was shot "multiple times in the back" Saturday night in Atlanta. There are no suspects, and an autopsy is planned for Sunday. 

Forrest is a Georgia native and was a member of the 1992 Olympic team. He trained at the USOEC in Marquette. He was also a former WBC super welterweight champion.
