Peninsula faces second-degree murder charges in the deaths of a
Norfolk, Va., woman and her mother almost two years ago.
Norfolk police say 37-year-old David W. Hoshaw was arrested
Thursday at his mobile home in Menominee, a city on Lake Michigan's
north shore 160 miles north of Milwaukee. The EagleHerald of
Menominee and neighboring Marinette, Wis., says Hoshaw waived an
extradition hearing and is jailed on $500,000 bond pending his
return to Virginia.
Hoshaw was indicted Wednesday in the fatal stabbings of
35-year-old Angelique Goyena and 74-year-old Vondra Goyena on June
30, 2007. Menominee County Prosecutor Dan Hass says Angelique
Goyena was Hoshaw's fiancee at the time.
Hoshaw said in court Thursday he has been living in Menominee
with his wife and their son.
