Focus turns to 0-5 educational programs
The area's largest chamber of commerce is hoping to connect with parents, to emphasize the importance of educational opportunities for young children.
TV 7 & 4 is partnering with the Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce. Each weekend we'll bring you a preview of the Chamber's weekly television program, called "Chamber Connections." The 30-minute show is dedicated to business issues, economic development and the northwest Michigan community.
This coming week, the Chamber is focusing on Early Childhood Development, and the Great Start Initiative. This week's guests say educational opportunities from ages zero-to-five are especially important, and parents need to fight for their child's needs.
You can catch new episodes every week on Up North 2 - that's cable access Channel 2 in the Traverse City area. But you can also view episodes online anytime you like.
