Mushroom Festival in Wexford County
MESICK -- This weekend marks the 50th Anniversary for the Mesick Mushroom Festival in Wexford County.
One of Saturday's big highlights was the parade through town. The festival has a history of drawing big crowds - and of course many of the visitors want to get their hands - and their taste buds - on fresh picked morel mushrooms.
There will be more fun on Sunday. Starting at 9 am, the softball tournament and the flea market. The roller hockey tournament starts at noon. There will also be an antique car show at 11 am and a lawn tractor pull at 1:00 pm. And for Mother's Day, moms get in free to the carnival when joined by their kids.
