Popular market now open for 2009
TRAVERSE CITY -- If fresh food is on your grocery list you'll be interested in knowing that the downtown Traverse City Farmer's Market is now open for the 2009 season.
The Sara Hardy Farmer's Market opened Saturday, in the parking lot across from the Open Space. The market will be open every Saturday from 8 am until noon through October. Wednesday morning hours begin June 10th.
More than 100 vendors will be on hand this year, bringing everything from bread and eggs, to plants, flowers, and fresh fruits and vegetables.
