Need before the Drive was "Critical"

Bare shelves at the Goodwill Inn in Traverse City are now being replenished with donated food.

The "Spring Food and Essential Drive" wrapped up yesterday.  The four day event brought in eight thousand pounds of food and other items for the shelter.  Before the drive, food supplies were "critically low."

Goodwill Inn provides more than four thousand meals to the homeless each month. Currently, an average of 85 people are guests at the shelter each night.
