Mt. Pleasant man apparently hunting alone at the time
(AP) -- UNION TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - A 23-year-old Mount Pleasant man has died of a gunshot wound to the head in an Isabella County hunting accident.
Christopher John Andera was pronounced dead Thursday night after police were called to the scene in Union Township, located just outside Mount Pleasant. Police say Andera was alone and family members went looking for him when he did not return from hunting.
Michigan State Police Trooper Sean Harmon says the death isn't considered suspicious. The accident is under investigation.
