About 1,000 of the vehicles arrive for annual event
MESICK -- About 1,000 Jeeps are in one Northern Michigan community this weekend for an annual event.
Saturday marks the 8th annual Blessing of the Jeeps in Mesick. The Wexford County community welcomed Jeep owners and Jeep lovers to the affair - which started this morning with a religious Blessing of the Jeeps, and capped off in the afternoon with a Jeep parade.
Organizers were hoping the 1,000 or so entries would shatter a Guiness World Record for the longest parade of Jeeps.
