Avon Protection Systems gets new orders for respiratory masks
CADILLAC -- Avon Protection Systems is getting additional orders from the Department of Defense for additional respiratory masks. The mask are designed for protection from biological, chemical, even nuclear weapons.
The first orders were placed back in August. Since then, 100,000 additional masks were ordered in January, and now an extra 61,000 masks are being requested on top of the first order. The company says the orders are worth more than 34-million dollars.
