Snowmobile drag races open to all riders
TRAVERSE CITY -- A major snowmobile drag-racing series is coming to Traverse City this weekend. It's called the TC 500, and hundreds of snowmobilers are expected at the fairgrounds this weekend.
The "500" is open to all snowmobiles and riders, for drag race-style races. Organizers say you can enter as often as you like. It's free to spectators - and they can also check out the vendors and the swap meet going on at the same time.
The TC 500 Drag Races start Saturday at 10 am at the Northwestern Michigan Fairgrounds. The cost for riders is $20 dollars per sled or $10 dollars per person. But again, it's free to spectators.
