The Third Annual Event Kicks Off Friday
TRAVERSE CITY -- Preparations are underway for the third annual Cherry Capital Winter Wonderfest in Traverse City.
Events will start Friday afternoon at 4 pm and continue through the weekend at several venues including the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa, The City Opera House, and Mount Holiday.
Because of the recent snow melt, a few of the events, including the snowmobile rides won't be happening. Others have been modified for the weather. The horse-drawn sleigh rides will be substituted with horse-drawn wagon rides this weekend.
Organizers say most of the events will take place as planned through the weekend and larger crowds than in years past are anticipated.
