TRAVERSE CITY -- The Women's Resource Center is holding it's "Happy Days" extravaganza. Last year the center saw a more than 20% increase in people coming in needing help from 2007.

The center's Director of Development, Valerie Kirn-Duensing, says the proceeds from the event will go a long way toward helping people in our community.

"This event gives us the financial means to support our clients, kind of a full 360 degree support system. We not only give them counseling for specific issues that they're dealing with but we can help them reestablish their lives," she said.

The event has a 1950's theme. Tickets are $95 or there are package deals for multiple guests. It takes place at 6 p.m. this Saturday in the Governor's Hall at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa.

To Get Tickets visit the Women's Resource Center Website, or call 1-231-941-1210.
