A Grand Rapids car dealer has made a move to purchase a long standing family owned dealer in Grand Traverse County.
Fox Motors based out of Grand Rapids has signed a purchase agreement to buy Grand Traverse Auto in Traverse City.
Fox Motors currently owns a Mercedes Benz Dealership in Acme and a Charlevoix dealership. Ford Automotive Company has to approve the sale. Both companies expect that the purchase agreement will move forward with no problems.
Grand Traverse Auto has been owned by the Sleder Family since 1964.
