MANISTEE -- On December 16, the Manistee City council approved 100-percent tax exemption for Mastech Manufacturing. Mastech with produce electrical generation equipment called a windspire. Mastech projects that they will be purchasing $3.7 million in equipment over the next six years. According to the city over more than $213,000 in revenue will be lost, an estimated $114,000 in city revenue.
