Widespread outages across Michigan have left thousands in the dark Monday morning including many people in Northern Michigan. Nearly 200,000 people woke up without power Monday morning across the state. The outages affected thousands of Consumers Energy customers in Antrim, Cheboygan, and Clare counties, as well as thousands more Presque Isle Electric and Gas customers, and hundreds of Great Lakes Energy customers. While each company is working to restore power to all customers, they say some might not get it back until as late as Wednesday.
