Computer games may not be just for teens anymore! A new study finds senior citizens can sharpen their minds by playing strategic games. Researchers at the University of Illinois had a group of seniors spend time learning a PC game where they had to build and manage a city. They found the gamers became much better and faster at switching between tasks than those not trained on the game and their working memory was significantly improved. Exercise, socializing and a healthy diet are other ways seniors can keep their minds sharp.
