A suspicious package that arrived in the mail at the U.S. Embassy in Cyprus caused a major response by emergency workers. Authorities said the package contained some kind of powder and that caused a response by a haz-mat team. United States embassies in 18 countries have received envelopes or packages with suspicious white powder since December 8th. The powder was sent to a lab for testing after parts of the embassy were disinfected.
