DETROIT -- A Detroit man entering the U.S. from Windsor has been turned over to Federal Authorities after Border Officials found more than 67 pounds of ecstasy in his car. The United States Customs and Border Protection Agency says agents were originally suspicious of a new gas tank on the vehicle, when the unidentified 31-year-old man tried to cross the Ambassador Bridge on Thursday. Using x-ray equipment, 20 bags of colored pills were discovered in the driver's side rear quarter panel. The Detroit News says the man told agents he was visiting a friend in Windsor.
